アングラ劇団を主宰する演出家兼俳優の士朗。公演のチケットの売れ行きは上々だが、製作費用がかさみ、金欠状態。そこは、芝居が下手だが裕福な実家をもつ公彦が頼りだった。頼られる公彦もまんざらではない。しかし、士朗が大道具の三四郎・主役の圭と絡む姿を目撃し、ショックを受ける公彦。その後姿を消した公彦が自らを主演に据えた『カルメン』の台本を多額の持参金とともに持ち込んできたが…。
